Michele Gasparini is Vice President of ANFAO with a mandate for ESG Sustainability and Plant Director at Trenti Industria Occhiali, part of the Kering Eyewear Group.
He holds a degree in Management Engineering from the University of Udine and has extensive experience in corporate reorganization and industrial growth within major international groups, with a strong focus on complexity management, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
After nearly a decade at Safilo, where he held positions of increasing responsibility within the supply chain across the Longarone and Suzhou plants, he led the restructuring and relaunch of a footwear manufacturing company in the Riviera del Brenta district, later acquired by the LVMH Group.
In 2018, he rejoined the eyewear industry with Kering Eyewear, contributing to the integration of the supply chain of the French facility dedicated to Cartier eyewear production. Since 2020, he has been Plant Director of Trenti Industria Occhiali, leading a major growth and reorganization phase that has doubled the company’s turnover and workforce.
In December 2023, he was appointed to the Presidency Council of ANFAO (National Association of Optical Goods Manufacturers) as Vice President for ESG Sustainability
Michele Gasparini è Vicepresidente di ANFAO con delega alla Sostenibilità ESG e Plant Director di Trenti Industria Occhiali, parte del gruppo Kering Eyewear.
Laureato in Ingegneria Gestionale presso l’Università di Udine, ha maturato una solida esperienza nella riorganizzazione aziendale e nella crescita industriale all’interno di grandi gruppi, con particolare attenzione alla gestione della complessità, all’efficienza operativa e alla sostenibilità.
Dopo quasi dieci anni in Safilo, dove ha ricoperto ruoli di crescente responsabilità nella supply chain tra gli stabilimenti di Longarone e Suzhou, ha guidato la riorganizzazione di una realtà manifatturiera del distretto calzaturiero della Riviera del Brenta entrata nel gruppo LVMH.
Dal 2018 è rientrato nel settore dell’occhialeria con Kering Eyewear, contribuendo all’integrazione della supply chain dello stabilimento francese dedicato alla produzione di occhiali Cartier, per poi assumere la direzione di Trenti Industria Occhiali, dove ha guidato un’importante fase di crescita e trasformazione, raddoppiando fatturato e occupazione.
Nel dicembre 2023 è stato eletto nel Consiglio di Presidenza di ANFAO come Vicepresidente con delega alla Sostenibilità ESG.
