Maria Cristina Squarcialupi has served as President of UNOAERRE Industries — one of the world’s leading jewelry and goldsmith companies, with operations in over 40 countries — since 2019, following her tenure as Vice President from 2015 to 2017. A chemist with a PhD in Sciences for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, she has also been Managing Director of Chimet since 2014. Founded in 1974, Chimet is a European leader in the recovery and refining of precious and critical metals from industrial waste.
Maria Cristina began her professional journey at LASI, a firm specializing in environmental consulting and laboratory services, and later went on to lead two historic family-owned businesses.
