Ida Palombella is an Italian qualified lawyer, Senior Partner at Deloitte Legal Italy, where she leads the IP and Technology Practice. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, she also holds the role of Fashion & Luxury Global Leader at Deloitte.
Ida has spent her entire career in the fashion industry and is internationally recognised as a top lawyer in the sector, ranked as a leading individual by the main legal directories. She started in-house as legal counsel to the renowned maison Valentino and then moved to private practice at top international law firms, where she advised some of the most relevant luxury brands. She is also an adjunct professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, teaching the first academic course in Fashion Law established in Italy.
Ida has strong experience and knowledge of the legal and business issues affecting the fashion and luxury sector, having been involved in the management of several top brands in Europe, the US and Asia, including through M&A deals. She is actively involved with the main Italian fashion associations and is a regular speaker at fashion and luxury events.
In her role as Deloitte Fashion & Luxury Global Leader she coordinates the annual study The Global Powers of Luxury, one of the most highly regarded publications on luxury market trends.

Ha trascorso l’intera carriera nell’industria della moda ed è riconosciuta a livello internazionale come avvocato di primo piano nel settore, indicata come leading individual dalle principali directory legali. Ha iniziato come legale in-house della celebre maison Valentino, per poi passare alla libera professione presso primari studi legali internazionali, dove ha assistito alcuni dei più importanti brand del lusso. È inoltre docente a contratto presso l’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, dove insegna nel primo corso accademico di Fashion Law istituito in Italia.
Ha una solida esperienza e conoscenza delle tematiche legali e di business del settore moda e lusso, avendo seguito la gestione di diversi top brand in Europa, negli Stati Uniti e in Asia, anche attraverso operazioni di M&A. È attivamente coinvolta nelle principali associazioni italiane della moda ed è relatrice abituale a eventi del settore moda e lusso.
Nel suo ruolo di Deloitte Fashion & Luxury Global Leader coordina lo studio annuale The Global Powers of Luxury, una delle pubblicazioni più autorevoli sui trend del mercato del lusso.
