Javier Goyeneche is the Founder of ECOALF, a sustainable fashion brand that uses recycled products.
He started his career in 1995, when he founded Fun & Basics, specializing in contemporary fashion handbags and accessories. He embarked on a mission to create an entirely new concept that would combine his design sensibility and understanding of the fashion consumer with the latest in recycled materials. In 2012 he launched ECOALF. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily and now produces a full sustainable lifestyle collection of outerwear, swimwear, casual apparel, yoga, footwear and accessories. In 2012, he oversaw the opening of an integrated ECOALF concept store, showroom and head office in Madrid.
He has been awarded the Schwab Foundation’s social innovators of the year 2020 for “revolutionizing the fashion industry and leading the shift towards a sustainable future”.
In July 2022, Ecoalf was officially recognized as one of B Corp’s “Best for the World”, positioning the brand in the top 5% of the 5,000 B Corps across the globe in the environment category.

È stato insignito del premio “Social Innovators of the Year 2020” dalla Schwab Foundation per “aver rivoluzionato l’industria della moda e guidato il cambiamento verso un futuro sostenibile”.
Nel luglio 2022, ECOALF è stata ufficialmente riconosciuta come una delle “Best for the World” di B Corp, posizionandosi tra il 5% dei migliori 5.000 B Corps al mondo nella categoria ambiente.
